Adopt a Red Heeler

Red Heeler Dog

Dottie the Dog needs a home

Hi, I'm Dottie. I am a 22 lb. Red Heeler puppy.  The doctors think my birthday is around Aug 16, 2017. I will probably grow up to be about 35 lbs.  I'm still young, so I'm still learning a lot of new things. I would benefit from going to obedience training so we can learn together. I am the perfect age to start learning obedience commands. I am working on house/crate training, but I need to go out every 2-3 hours. I do pretty well on a leash and am working on leash walking. I'm a quick learner and picking up on everything, but you need to expect to continue my training and to provide me with stimulating toys to keep me busy as I go through the phases of puppyhood. I love my small Kong. I need a home with no large dogs, no cats, and no children under 8 years old. I will need daily exercise. We can go for walks, hikes, out to eat at pet friendly establishments or other fun activities you enjoy doing. No apartments, please. I need a fully fenced backyard where I can run and play fetch. If you're interested in a great puppy to include in all your family activities, I'm your gal, but please email us information about yourself and your family and let us know how I would fit into your families daily routine.

Come see me at the SCP Adoption Events on Saturday at Petco. Adopter for Dottie must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.
